MASCARA- toss after 3 months, if you DON'T pump it you can toss it after 6 months.
LIP & EYE LINERS- good for 2-3 yrs. as long as you sharpen after EACH use & keep them DRY.
LIPSTICK & GLOSS- say bye-bye after a yr.
EYE SHADOW, POWDERS & BLUSH- 2-3 yrs. then toss.
FOUNDATIONS- depends on formula but 6 months is a good time to go by.
TIP: ALWAYS throw out your makeup if you've had any type of viral infection to avoid reinfecting yourself.
TIP: DO NOT store your makeup in the bathroom or anywhere else that humidity can get to it. It will shorten it's life span. Store in a dry, cool place.
